If you have the space, a freestanding bath on Victorian feet is one of these indulgences you will never regret. Not just to boutique hotels, these days there is a bath-look period for all budgets and spec. A roll-top at both ends, as seen here, is a classic choice. For extra authenticity, opt for a cast, as they were in Victorian times, and paint the exterior to match your system.
